§ 26-92. Consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages in public places.

  • (a)

    As used in this section, the term "alcoholic beverage" means as defined in V.T.C.A., Alcoholic Beverage Code § 1.04(1).

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to have in his possession any alcoholic beverage, except in the original unopened container, in or upon any public highway, road, street, alley or sidewalk within the city. It shall further be unlawful for any person to consume any alcoholic beverage in or upon any public highway, road, street, alley or sidewalk within the city.
